On-Line Bookings

The role and function of openjet acting on your behalf is limited to the following services unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing: -

The use of a computer system (namely openjet.com) for:

(a) the making of a reservation;

(b) the obtaining of confirmation of such reservation;

(c) the forwarding of payment on your behalf for this reservation to the travel supplier; &

(d) the confirmation on your behalf of your acceptance of the travel service supplier’s terms and conditions.

 

IT IS HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGED AND ACCEPTED: -

(1) You have read, understood and accept the supplier’s booking terms and conditions which were brought to your attention prior to proceeding to purchase flights;

(2) openjet, has no liability or responsibility in the provision or operation of the travel services obtained by using openjet.com;

(3) Your contract for the provision of any travel service is with the supplier of such service

 

Terms & Conditions

1. openjet.com is the website of openjet Limited (Co. No. 359958, Registered in Dublin)

2. openjet Limited is in no way associated with any airline.

3. openjet Limited provide a service to any person entering our site who wishes us to search major low fares airlines in Europe for the cheapest (or most suitable) routes on their behalf.

4. openjet Limited does not search every available route and airline.

5. openjet Limited does not bias or favour any air travel provider. There may be cheaper (or more suitable) travel arrangements available elsewhere, on or off the internet.

6. openjet Limited does not confine its searches to specific airlines and airlines it may have an agreement with. In order to give the customer the best choice, openjet may search certain airlines websites of whom we have no direct knowledge.

7. openjet accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss that may result from using the openjet.com website

8. If a customer chooses to use the openjet.com computer system, they are still bound by the Terms & Conditions of Carriage of the airlines they are booked with. Fares booked through openjet.com are subject to a surcharge of €10.89 per person as a booking fee (this fee includes VAT @ 21%, openjet VAT Reg. IE6379958P), which is paid direct to openjet. Any customer using openjet.com is not creating a contract with openjet to provide them with travel, but using openjet as a service to create a contract with the airline. Your credit card will be billed immediately after purchase. After purchase you will receive email notification with your payment details.

9. Customers should make themselves aware of restrictions and costs of changes/refunds etc. that some airlines that openjet may be creating a contract between the customer and them imply on their customers/passengers. . 10. openjet Limited advises all passengers to take out necessary travel insurance. Some travel insurance products are available through our affiliate travel insurance scheme. Netcoverdirect Insurance offers openjet customers from the UK & Ireland general travel insurance policies that cover missed low fares connections up to the value of €100 for a new flight and/or €100 for accommodation per insured per trip. The insurers only cover missed connections should they be booked in an openjet Limited approved manner. All connecting fares that will be displayed on this site are approved.

11. Prices quoted on this website may be indicate of a current foreign exchange rate, that may be applied to your credit card, or other payment. This will not be over 3% of the indicative price.

12. Price Guarantee:Availability or price is not guaranteed until you receive a booking confirmation.  

13. During the use of the openjet.com computer system, should a booking or part of booking not confirm due to conditions outside the control of openjet, such as a change in availability/price that would have occurred should you have chosen to manually book the said chosen flight(s), or error with a third party [airline] reservation system, openjet will not be responsible for any extra costs involved in fulfilling those flight(s).

14. Passengers are required to have appropriate ID/Passport/Visa’s that meet their carriers requirements, the onus to have the correct documentation is the passengers responsibility. This information is available at the carriers websites.

15. openjet Ltd. fully complies with regulations for distributing air travel (and associated travel products) as per the law of Ireland, this has been confirmed by the Commission for Aviation Regulation Authority of Ireland.
