Berlin, Germany's capital city, is a diverse city full of art, music, museums, history and theaters and is home to about 4 million people. Airport Transportation:

The airport is serviced by bus and train service. Buses do not connect directly to the city, but bring passengers to either the nearest train or metro station. A complimentary bus departs from outside the airport terminal to bring passengers to the train station. The train ride to city center is about 25 minutes long. Bus 171 picks up passengers outside the terminal and drops off at Rudlow, the nearest metro station from where you can take a metro train to the city center.

As you stroll around, look for: Brandenburger Tor, gate built in 1788 to celebrate the triumph of the Prussian army is one of Berlin's most revered landmarks; Tiergarten, a massive park complete with lakes and greens, is a wonderful place to sit on the lawn or benches and watch the world go by; and Fernsehturm, an ugly television tower redeemed only by its revolving topside restaurant and fabulous views of the city.
