What happens if I miss my connecting flight?
We strongly recommend that all passengers have adequate insurance cover before travelling. Our own insurance covers passengers for missed flights (subject to terms and conditions) and upon receipt of your insurance documentation you will have received a 24 hour number to contact in case of emergency. All of the low-cost carriers now operate their flight services on a point to point basis. This means that passengers who do not take our insurance. are not entitled to any compensation or refund if they miss a connecting flight. In some circumstances, if the connecting flight is with the same airline, the company may offer some assistance, but it it entirely at their own discretion and they are under no obligation to do so. Otherwise passengers will have to re-book on the next available flight to their chosen destination and pay the appropriate fare. What happens if I want to change my booking?

Travelling while pregnant.
There are no special restrictions on pregnant women travelling up to and including the 27th week of pregnancy with any of the low cost airlines. For travel after the 27th week, airlines require a doctors certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy, and that the passenger is fit to fly. The period after which airlines will not carry pregnant women varies with each carrier, but is generally between 32 and 36 weeks. It is the responsibility of all pregnant women to advise the airline of their condition at the point of reservation, and for further information we recommend that you contact the airline directly. Volareweb Germanwings HLX Recommended Reading The phenomenal success of budget airlines like easyjet and Ryanair has revolutionised the travel industry. Between them the no-frills airlines now carry a staggering 23 million passengers a year to destinations all over Europe. Tourists can choose from a dazzling array of potential holiday destinations – many of which they know nothing about. Many of the cities the budget airlines fly to are not traditional tourist destinations and are therefore not covered by individual city guidebooks. Also tourists may not need or want a full-length, overly detailed city guidebook for a short break trip. This book aims to help readers make an informed choice about the best destination to choose; then, once that decision is made and flights are booked, they will have at their fingertips short-break information on that city. The author has given each town its own star rating so you can see at a glance what kind of place Klagenfurt is, or whether there really is anything to do of an evening in Dusseldorf. Also included is a useful guide to where to go for what and suggestions for places to stay ranging from budget to luxury accommodation. Fly Europe is a practical, easy-to-use guidebook that provides all the information you could need on 80 budget airline destinations, collected in one handy volume.
